Welcome To Bitcoins In Trade

In August 2014 I became a Bitcoin owner when the price dipped below 600 dollars... buying my first BIT of bitcoin... literally a nickles worth 0.05 btc. Since then I've made a number of similar purchases that tracked the value of one bitcoin DOWN from the 600 dollar plateau it had been on for most of 2014.... indeed, most of the purchases I've made have been at the new seemingly unstable plateau of 350-380 usd - as some of you know, bitcoin lost much value quite quickly and (Alibaba intro?) at one point and dipped into the 290's briefly.

Since I was immediately `losing money' when my only cryptocurrency was bitcoin - within a month I was `into' some of the first `exchanges' I had found - to change my bitcoin into some of the new flourishing `other' BITCOIN type of digital currencies..... and in just the last 90 days THAT category has EXPLODED with `new named coins' - of which many are VERY TARGETED to fill the needs within a niche (and for traders too) - niches as small as DeafCoin, POWcoin for comic book fans, etc.

At the same time - other `new currencies' are aiming HUGE - like at WHOLE Countries as their goal.... perhaps first started by the MazaCoin... readers will find this idea... that a coin could serve a smaller nation... any smaller nation... perhaps as well overall as a fiat currency.... is one of my first `marketing positionings' of my `investment' in brand names of coins; because with over 1000 coins and more flooding expected... only the best suited with the best attributes will survive the ultimate shakeout.

So, that is at least one positioning for this blog - that Coins will be often be talked about as brands.... and what attributes the brand is filling in the marketplace and if that will have legs.... all beyond also covering the flames and scams and scums of the cryptocoin world.... From the absurdly priced - to those building an empire from the bottom. And, finally - this blog will broadly look at some of the ultimate potentials of digital currencies and politics. Much of this will be also covered if not covered more deeply at my `other' Bitcoin blog called Bitcoin --- The Barf, The Stew, The Winners.

Lastly, all the above will be funneled into providing `trade action' - hopefully on a new daily basis... recommendations if you will. That will be easily trackable. Also, `winning' trade sequences will also be shared (as will some of the ugly ones too). Indeed, this blog may update multi-times daily, possibly ... we will see how it all plays out.

So, I'm involved with several `exchanges' and to a degree as of now am using each primarily for different purposes - those exchanges are Bluetrade which I use for the HTML5Coin trading against the Litecoin and hold a few coins for some obscure `nation' coins offered there. Bluetrade has many great features but is just getting its feet started and has extremely thin markets with only a few coins with active trading. In the chat area you often see the developers and miners of the coins. My trading at Bluetrade has turned challenging as the trading is just so thin. (Small Order Books)
-------------------
I'm mainly trading in bitcoin at Bittrex a much more active place with about 400-700 btc value a day being traded as of now on most days. Bittrex has many coins (but still limited) that trade actively .... for a time period... and then often the demand vanishes.... and that, believe it or not, can often offer an opportunity.
----------------------------
I also have some bitcoin at Coins-E the first exchange I found and eventually left due to too thin trading. That said, sometimes a good arbitrage can be found there compared to other more active locations for coins.
------------------------------
And, finally, but only for now - the last ACTIVE exchange I am on is Cryptsy which is very active - and has LiteCoin trading and Ripple trading too. The `feel' is a little `harder' IMO - but is not hard to get used to. They also reward traders - like Bluetrade (Bittrex does not reward) - but at a lower level IMO.
-------------------------
All that said, just yesterday I was part of a Beta test at a new trading platform that looks real cool and supposedly has features like combining the exchanges you use into one screen - I was not able to do that in my first usage despite trying... so we will see. I'll reserve that name for now.

One of the main features of this blog will be `Coin Picks' - kind of like a bookie tip sheet for coins - coin picks will be of all sorts from longshots (like today's) with big payoffs - to simply calls on the expected market direction of some particular coin.

TODAY'S LONGSHOT

Just Bought 11/30-12:26PM
NewUniversalDollar (Bittrex) at 0.00000214
I set my sell price in the 600's - this could be ready to pop due to low volume, thin market, and some level of folks wanting to save it IMO.
often but not always I will update my picks
do your homework and legwork
UPDATE 12/1-8:34AM, last trade was at 205 - little action yesterday, huge spread, you can still get in on this. Buy and set your sell price lower for even surer action.
